Hepatitis C rapid test
Hepatitis C is an inflammation of the liver caused by the hepatitis C virus (HCV). HCV is transmitted by blood. The most common route of transmission is sharing injecting equipment when using drugs. In rare cases, HCV can also be transmitted during sex. (More information on this is available from IWWIT). There is no vaccination against HCV, but hepatitis C is curable in most cases today. Especially people who use drugs should get tested for HCV. We offer a rapid antibody test which can detect antibodies 6-8 weeks after infection.
